The Stellar Seekers followed a sophisticated religious ideology centered on reincarnation and cosmic alignment. They believed that by living in harmony with the stars in a divine way, one's essence could be preserved upon death, allowing them to become one with the stars and escape the cycle of suffering. This philosophy emphasized acceptance of fate and the wisdom of stellar influence.
The cult notably served as a sanctuary for oracles fleeing persecution by the Coven, though this protection often came at a terrible price.
The Mercy chapter met a tragic end at Eden Monastery when Shamesh corrupted a newborn child, triggering a catastrophic wave of death that transformed the members into demons. This corruption spread to other cells across Mercy, including one in the Burning Forest where a Cinnabar Tree was destroyed. The souls of these members were later liberated by Civrev and the Sock Pirates, allowing them to move on to their next life.
Established approximately 20 years before its discovery, the Archibast chapter operated from Deep Basin Cavern. Shamesh eventually abandoned this group, leaving behind a grimoire with Vida, a sea dragon he had "tamed." This led to the systematic hunting of remaining members by Vida over subsequent years.
